The Mattie Kelly Arts Guild is hosting Wendy Rodrigue, of the George Rodrigue Foundation of the Arts, at its Oct. 10 luncheon at the LeCiel, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m.
Wendy’s presentation, “Musings of An Artist’s Wife” will feature the inspirational story of the Blue Dog myths, known as the loup-garou, including George’s Cajun paintings and portraits. She will discuss her role as wife and muse to a famous artist and how she maintained her own identity using her popular blog, lectures and book projects.
