Amavida Coffee Roasters in Santa Rosa Beach, FL is looking for a Warehouse Associate Intern to join our team. We are located on 712 Serenoa Road, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.
This is a summer intern position beginning in May and ending in August.
Summary:
Working in coordination with order processing, packaging, quality control and products to our customers. This is a great opportunity for an individual to learn about Lean Manufacturing coupled with a live working environment in manufacturing, packaging, distribution and inventory control. We would encourage recent high-school graduates or college-bound candidates to apply.
Responsibilities:
-Candidate will complete Lean Quality Management Training
-Attention to Detail Training
-GMP / HACCP Training
-Operation Safety Training
-Read assigned materials and prepare presentations as requested to team
-Provide direct support to Operations Manager
Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers and key customer orders.
- Fill online customer orders.
- Assist customers with pick-up orders
- Accurately pack outbound shipments, ensuring that packages are prepared in time every day.
- Update Production Coordinator and/or Operations Manager of low inventory stock levels.
- Conduct inventory counts
- Thoroughly clean bins, tables, and general warehouse areas and machines according to cleaning schedule to meet GMP Food safety requirements.
- Bag labeling and printing coffee bags
- Accurately blend, grind, pack, and heat-seal coffee and tea bags
- Production of Cold Brew Coffee
- Other warehouse duties as assigned.

- At times, more than 40 hours per week may be required to perform the essential duties of the position.
