Full-Time Visitor Information Specialist Wanted

Overview: An ambassador for Walton County Tourism by welcoming guests and providing exemplary hospitality to those who visit our Visitor Center.

Duties include:

· Welcomes visitors, provides information, and answers questions about Walton County including inquiries about accommodations, dining facilities, recreational activities, and locations of public beaches

· Answers incoming phone calls for all departments and provides information, answers questions, and transfers calls to appropriate staff

· Guides visitors with selecting merchandise, facilitating purchases, and provides insights into the benefits of staying overnight in South Walton properties, while also sharing the unique charm and attractions of the South Walton area

· Exemplifies Walton County and its vibrant tourism industry as an ambassador for the South Walton brand and destination with positivity and enthusiasm, fostering a welcoming and memorable experience for all visitors

· Receives merchandise deliveries, takes inventory, and prepares merchandise for Visitor Center floor, stockroom, and storage
