The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and The Hive Creative Consulting are bringing local nonprofit organizations and members of the business community together for the Nonprofit Mingle on Feb. 19 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the South Walton Boys and Girls Club. In its second year, this event allows nonprofits the chance to share their mission and current needs with businesses and individuals in the community.
“Whether you are looking to volunteer, donate, or need assistance, this will be a great place to come learn more about the work these nonprofits do in our community,” said Megan Harrison, CEO of the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Admission to the Nonprofit Mingle is free for attendees. The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce encourages all nonprofits to get involved. Nonprofit registration is $50 for Chamber members or $100 for organizations that are not members. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.
“There are so many resources and incredibly worthy non-profit organizations in this area,” said Ali Weil, principal of The Hive Creative Consulting. “Bringing everyone together through this event will make it easier for individuals to mingle with local organizations and connect with a cause that is important to them.”
