Many locals gather at the old East gate (entry from 395N across from the Methodist Church) at noon to start assembling 2000 luminaries at Eden State Park for the annual open house Saturday, Dec 17th. Hot dogs, chili, refreshments and bon fire for the volunteers. 30 to 45 minutes before sunset we will need additional volunteers to place and light the luminaries.
