In its 32nd year, ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival is transitioning to a virtual exhibition beginning October 9, 2020 in conjunction with National Arts and Humanities Month!

Produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County and presented by Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, ArtsQuest provides an opportunity to view and purchase original art from artists from around the country.

NATIONAL ARTS & HUMANITIES MONTH

CAA Member Artist Exhibit

The annual Betty & Johnny Main CAA Member Artist exhibit, which usually takes place at ArtsQuest, will be featured in-person in the Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s lobby October 9th through December 20th and on the CAA’s website beginning October 15th. All works are available for purchase, and awards will be given for Best in Show and Awards of Merit.

ArtsQuest Featured Artist 2020 is Michael McCarty

Michael McCarty is an Abstract Artist who produces contemporary, modern art (often with a graphic flair). His work is filled with an abundance of color and interwoven with subtle visual suggestions, at times leaving interpretations up to the viewer’s own imagination. McCarty’s background includes designing cover art for bands including Atlanta Rhythm Section, Little Richard, James Brown, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Lynyrd Skynyrd among many others. McCarty was South Walton's Artist of the Year in 2009. Read his fascinating story at the CAA website! Visit:
