I've been happy with Dr. Barr in Freeport. They took good care of two dogs I brought to them for my nephew that lost his house to Katrina. The pups suffered from numerous infections from being exposed to the elements after the storm. Dr. Barr pays attention!
They are open on Saturdays as well. I bring my dogs to Freeport for everything now! ;-)

He is wonderful; takes care of all mine and my families' animals (8 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 ferrets... YES, ferretts--they're really very intelligent and loving animals...) and we couldn't be happier!
He and Dr. Baxter genuinely love all animals, and are wonderful to deal with.
