We are finally ready to set up a vacation home in BMB and are looking for advice on a cable / satellite and internet provider. In reading some online reviews, nobody likes who they have in the area. We don't need movie channels and such - just basic service and a reliable internet connection that is relatively fast. Any suggestions?

Mediacom is the only TV cable provider available which I use. Spotty service sometimes. Don't have any experience with satellite. Use CenturyLink DSL on my land line for internet service. Rarely have any trouble. Speed is a relative thing but is all I need.

With good internet wifi get a ROKU box it has hundreds of channels and NO MONTHLY Fee... and of course 30aTV is on there in various places

Here is a video about ROKU http://30a.tv/videos/1964/roku-tons-of-channels-movies-for-just-a-one-time-$50-!!
Walmart sells them at $50 and that's all you pay, unless you have Netflix or HULU
Its the cable killer.
