Turtle Fest !!!!!!
Come join the South Walton Community Council and Turtle Watch to kick off turtle nesting season May 1st at The First Annual Turtle Fest to be held on the Gulf Place amphitheater from 10 to 3. This is event is to celebrate and educate the public about our precious sea turtles . There's going to be story telling, educational booths, turtle parade, music by The Forrest Willams band and free turtle safe flahlights to kids who fill out there turtle passport cards, and much more.This is a great family event! I mean who doesn't love sea turtles?See you there!!!!!!!!!

Just got confirmation that Tony will set up a SurfriderFoundation table/booth. Tony used to be a fisheries and sea turtle biologist and is real excited to be a part. I will get him your cell and will probably work the table a bit with him on Saturday. This looks like a good time!

Family fun for everyone - learn all about SoWal's nesting sea turtles through informational booths, games and entertainment. From 12-3 the Forest Williams band will be playing.
