Topsail Hill Preserve is home to two rare Coastal Dune Lakes. Come learn what makes these water bodies so special.
Saturday February 9, 2013 Breakfast with a Ranger 9:00am
Come and join the Rangers of Topsail Hill and ask them all the questions you can think of about park wildlife. To cover the cost of food, please bring $5, which goes to Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park, or bring your own breakfast. Breakfast is served in the clubhouse.
Friday February 15, 2013 Sunset Hike 5:00pm
This hike begins with a tram ride to the beach to take in the beautiful sunset. From there, we will proceed back down the tram path, enjoying the park as the stars begin to show.
Saturday February 16, 2013 Exotics 2:00pm
Each year the state park system spends large amounts of money and man-hours to rid the parks of certain plants. Come find out what these are and why we eradicate them.
Saturday February 23, 2013 Campbell Lake Hike 2:00pm
Join us as we hike the tram road to the shore of Campbell Lake. The hike will culminate at the shores of one of the rarest types of habitat in the world, the coastal dune lake.
All programs except Breakfast with a Ranger require a $6.00 entry admission into the park.
