[FONT=&quot]The Women’s Art Guild supporting the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation will host “Falling for the Arts”, a women’s luncheon on Wednesday, August 24 at 11:30 a.m. at Embassy Suites in Miramar Beach. Featured guest artists include author Tony Mennillo, of Arturo’s Studio, and jeweler Mary Kay Samouce, of ADORN by Samouce. Mennillo will tell some captivating stories of early Destin and Northwest Florida that will be published in his newest book due out later this fall. This new historical perspective will feature over 500 new images from the late photographer, Arturo Mennillo. Artist and jewelry designer, Samouce will share her creative design of integrating authentic antique and vintage finds into one of a kind contemporary statement pieces. Her experience in the fashion and interior design business for residential and retail commercial venues include the Mattel Toy Fair, Neiman Marcus, Liz Claiborne and now a new partnership with Off Fifth Saks Avenue stores in major cities.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]The Women’s Art Guild is sponsored by The Eventful Planner, David M. Rauch of Raymond James Financial Services and Embassy Suites Hotels. Hosted by Gretchen Rauch and Tracy Wood, the women’s artist guild represents over 250 women passionate about the Foundation’s mission to promote art, music and education along the Emerald Coast.
