?THE BUTLER DID IT? COMES TO SOUTH WALTON HIGH SCHOOL!
(Santa Rosa Beach) Just in case you?re not quite ready to give up on Halloween once the trick or treating is over, The Theatre Project at South Walton proudly presents it?s fall drama presentation, The Butler Did It by Tim Kelly, November 5, 6 and 7, 2009 in the South Walton High School auditorium at 7:00pm each evening.
The action revolves around the eccentric Miss Maple (Lucy Livingston), an aging matron famous for her unique parties. As a prelude to opening a chain of mystery book stores, she invites seven well-known mystery writers and an assortment of other guests to mysterious old Ravenswood Manor for a weekend party. The writers, who all come dressed as their most famous characters vie for Miss Maple?s favor and a spot for their books on the shelves of her new store. Familiar faces include: Father White (Grayson Gilbert), Chandler Marlowe (Wade Howard), Rick and Laura Carlyle (Will Dargavell and Kaylyn Carter), Louie Fan (Eddie Kalil), Peter Flimsey (Cody Geile) and Charity Haze (Isabelle Lara). Attending to Miss Maple?s every need are her assistant Rita (Katie Burns) and the cook, Haversham (Kayla Scheler). The party begins innocently enough, but eventually, like the Agatha Christie mysteries it seeks to emulate, things soon begin to go wrong. Very wrong.
The Butler Did It is a family comedy and is suitable for all ages. Tickets are five dollars for students and seven dollars for adults. Children under school age get in free.
