Sinfonia Gulf Coast continues its seventh season of innovative musical programming on February 15 & 16, presenting the Amernet String Quartet at the Rosemary Beach Town Hall.

Lauded for their "intelligence" and “immensely satisfying” playing by the New York Times, the Amernet String Quartet has garnered worldwide praise and recognition as one of today's exceptional string quartets. Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University since 2004, the group was formed in 1991, while its founding members were students at the Juilliard School. Amernet rose to international attention after winning the Gold Medal at the Tokyo International Music Competition in 1992. In 1995, the group was the First Prize winner of the prestigious Banff International String Quartet Competition.

The concert program includes Franz Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet in F minor, Antonin Dvorak’s String Quartet in C major and short works by Tchaikovsky, Puccini and Wolf.

Tickets are $35 and can be purchased and printed online, or by calling the box office at 850-269-7129. Legendary Marine and Chris Craft present the 2012-2013 season. Classical Connections Series Sponsor is Silver Sands Premium Outlets. Concert presenting sponsors are The Merchants of Rosemary Beach, Café Thirty-A and SoWal.com.
