Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation and The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce present the 5th Annual Taste of The Beach kick-off event, Vine to Wine, at the Seascape Golf, Beach & Tennis Resort's Ballroom on August 23, 2013 - with all proceeds benefiting local charities! This event features 250+ wines, including all medal winners, from Taste of the Beach’s wine judging competition for guests to sample, alongside culinary delights from top area restaurants.

Wine enthusiasts and aficionados, gourmets and gourmands, philanthropists and successful friends have combined talents and passions to create an unparalleled experience: “Taste of THE Beach-Wine. Dine. Donate.” On November 1-3, 2013. This three day extravaganza held in the northwest Florida gulf coast, referred to as THE Beach, will showcase a world class resort community where the residents sport a casual and relaxed attitude but are obsessed with great wine, great food, and philanthropy.

A collaboration between the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), Taste of The Beach combines new and established food, wine and artistic events featuring prized vintners and renowned chefs. The majority of proceeds from ticket sales and the charity auction benefit local charities that work to improve the physical, emotional and educational lives of underprivileged and at-risk children in Northwest Florida.

Friday, November 1 – Al Fresco Reserve Tasting in Ruskin Place
Ruskin Place, Seaside
6pm – 8pm, $185 per person

In the picturesque town of Seaside amid the art galleries of Ruskin Place, guests will taste a range of highly allocated and reserve wines, dine on sushi and hors d’oeuvres prepared by noted local restaurateur and chef Jim Shirley, and enjoy live chamber music.

Friday, November 1 – Taste of the Beach After Dark
Gulf Place, Santa Rosa Beach
7pm – 10pm, $50 per person

Guests at the November 1 Taste of The Beach After Dark event will enjoy an unprecedented combination of food, wine, signature cocktails and show beverage mixology. Gulf Place on 30A will provide a beautiful and stunning setting for this special event. Guests will enjoy enjoying magnificent cocktail concoctions, amazing local cuisine and spectacular desserts, all while enjoying live music and a mesmerizing ambiance!

Saturday, November 2 – Seeing Red Wine Festival
Streets of Seaside

The featured Seeing Red event is an afternoon of wine, food and music in the tranquil beauty of Seaside, Florida. Explore, sample and expand your knowledge about the latest trends in wine from aficionados who are waiting to meet and educate you. And new to the Festival this year, guests can enjoy the “Savor South Walton Culinary Demonstration Stage” with special chef demos throughout the event, as well as sample some of the most superb hors d’oeuvres prepared by local restaurateurs. Plus, don’t miss live music scattered throughout town to entertain guests during the tasting.

Sunday, November 3 – Taste of The Beach & Charity Auction

Taste of The Beach concludes with a silent auction to benefit local childrens’ charities. Guests may bid on fabulous prizes donated from the community and enjoy wine, cocktails and appetizers.

TOTB EVENT UPDATE: If you are attending tonight's Al Fresco Reserve Tasting at 6PM in SeasideFL as part of Taste of The Beach's Seeing Red Wine Festival, please note the event venue has MOVED, and will now be held under a tent on Seaside's LYCEUM LAWN, just a few hundred yards from Ruskin Park (next to the Seaside Neighborhood School) See the MAP below for Lyceum Lawn location in relation to Central Square on #30A.
