This year’s exciting schedule of events includes: Taste of The Harbor, Taste of Bay Wine & Food Experience, Al Fresco Reserve Tasting at Ruskin Place, Seeing Red Wine Festival, a wine maker dinner at Seagar’s, Taste of The Beach After Dark at Finz, and the Taste of The Beach & Charity Auction.

A collaboration between the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce and Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), Taste of The Beach combines new and established food, wine and artistic events featuring prized vintners and renowned chefs.

Schedule of Events​

November 4, Taste of Bay Wine & Food Experience
Pier Park, Panama City Beach
6:00pm – 8:30pm, $35 per person
Guests will sip exceptional wines and sample savory cuisine prepared by local restaurants while strolling outdoors alongside the many shops at Pier Park.

November 4, Al Fresco Reserve Tasting in Ruskin Place
Ruskin Place, Seaside
6pm – 8pm, $145 per person
In the picturesque town of Seaside amid the art galleries of Ruskin Place, guests will taste a range of highly allocated and reserve wines, dine on sushi and hors d’oeuvres prepared by noted local restaurateur and chef Jim Shirley, and enjoy live chamber music.

November 5, Seeing Red Wine Festival
Streets of Seaside
1pm – 5pm, $120 per person
One of the largest events during Taste of The Beach, this picnic-style festival will take over the streets of Seaside, offering dozens of domestic and international red wines to sample while live music entertains.

November 5, Progressive Vintner Dinner
Seagar’s, Hilton Sandestin
6:00pm, $125 per person
Seagar’s welcome guests to a specially prepared, multi-course dinner featuring expertly paired wines chosen by a renowned winemaker.

November 5, After Dark at Sandestin
Finz at Sandestin Beachside Grille and Pool Deck
7:00pm – 10:00pm, $50 per person
Gaze and graze. Enjoy this nighttime poolside party under the stars. Celebrate the best in food, cocktails and wine at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Finz Beachside pool deck on Saturday, November 5.

November 6, Taste of The Beach & Charity Auction
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, Destin
3pm – 6pm, $35 per person
Taste of The Beach concludes with a silent auction to benefit local childrens’ charities including Sacred Heart Foundation, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, Children in Crisis, and Ronald McDonald House. Guests may bid on fabulous prizes donated from the community and enjoy cocktails and passed appetizers.

Attendees can stroll through Pier Park, Panama City Beach’s charming outdoor entertainment district, and savor the flavors of 60 fine craft beers, 120 award-winning wines and cuisine prepared by the area’s celebrated chefs. Individual tickets are $40 per person.

November 5, UNwineD with Alton Brown
Wyndham Bay Point Resort, Panama City Beach

Wyndham Bay Point Resort is the setting for an unforgettable evening with Alton Brown, host of Food Network’s “Good Eats” and “Iron Chef America.” Guests can sample delicacies prepared by Executive Chef Julio Lucero from multiple food stations that have been paired with a special collection of beer and wine. At 7:30 p.m., Alton Brown takes the stage for a 90-minute cooking demonstration and show, flavored with his signature humor and enthusiasm. Wines and beers with that complement each dessert are served beginning at 9:00 p.m. During this time, guests can purchase an Alton Brown book for signing. Individual tickets are $50 per person.
