Embark on a relaxing day of food and drinks on the water during SunQuest Cruises Brunch and Brews Cruise on Sunday, March 25th from 1 - 4 p.m. Patrons can leisurely peruse the 125’ SOLARIS yacht as it cruises the local waters, enjoy food stations paired with unlimited locally-crafted beers and live music. SunQuest Cruises has partnered with local brewery Grayton Beer Company to collaborate on the premium beer pairings for each of the four different chef-attend food stations. In addition to brunch and brews, guests can enjoy fresh breezes, sparkling waters and panoramic coastal views from the three decks of the SOLARIS yacht as well as live music by Ben Parsons.
“We can’t think of a better way to kick off the spring season than fun in the sun on a yacht with delicious food, flavorful craft beers and live music,” stated James Murray, General Manager for SOLARIS. “It’s going to be a casual atmosphere where guests can go at their own leisure to enjoy food, drinks, the views and live music.”
Several chef-attended food stations will be located throughout the 125’ SOLARIS yacht, each perfectly paired with a local Grayton Beer. The SunQuest Slider Station will feature Braised Beef Short Ribs with Chiptole Aioli, BBQ sauces, Smoked Gouda, Blue Cheese and Tangy Cole Slaw. Grayton Beer’s IPA, a full-bodied malt with robust hops, will be served as a refreshing compliment. Another chef-attended station is a Blackened Fish Taco Bar with Spicy Cole Slaw, Cucumber Pico de Gallo, Queso Fresco and Cilantro Aioli. Guests will enjoy the tacos with Grayton Beer’s Pale Ale, a local twist on the classic American favorite with hints of bright lemon peels, oranges and pine undertones from American hops.
The Grits Lagniappe Station features a crawfish and andouille sautee, applewood-smoked bacon, feta cheeses, smoked gouda, peppers and onions. A unique seafood-inspired beer pairing will be Grayton’s Beer’s Franklin County Oyster Stout, an American stout-style beer with hints of local oysters, smoked poblano, chipotle peppers and lemon. A Charcuterie Board will also be offered, featuring an assortment of cured and cooked sausages, bacon, artisan cheeses, infused oil and pickled bites. Perfectly paired with the Charcuterie Board will be Grayton Beer’s 1890 Founder’s Ale, a classic amber ale with flavors of caramel, toffee and roasted walnuts that is a great union with smoked meats.
Live music by local musician Ben Parsons will be heard from all three indoor and outdoor decks of the SOLARIS yacht. Each deck of the yacht offers a different experience from the open air sky deck to the elegant indoor dining spaces with panoramic windows.
