The Tree House, serving children 18 months through age 9, is seeking substitute teachers to fill in on occasion. Individuals must have an understanding of childhood development, a patience and respect for children, a desire to encourage children to be independent and an ability to model appropriate behavior. Teachers must maintain an environment rich with Montessori philosophy that is both safe and engaging for children.
This posting is offered as an hourly, part-time position. School hours are 8:00am – 3:00pm.
Education background required. Montessori experience preferred.
