Amanda Usrey, artist extraordinaire and proprietor of Studio by the Sea, has generously offered to host a painting class and donate the proceeds to Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA).

March 23
8:15am – 10:30am
Topsail Hill Preserve State Park – meet in parking lot (by 8:15am) to catch the tram
Cost: $35

The class will take place outdoors, overlooking beautiful Campbell Lake.

Participants will receive step-by-step instruction on how to produce the painting pictured below. All materials will be provided as part of the cost of the class. Appropriate for ages five and up.

You are welcome to stay and enjoy the park following the class. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and hang out for a bit while you admire your work.

Amanda says, “No experience necessary! Even if you've NEVER painted before.. (you've so got this!). Have a great time and support an amazing cause all in one morning; you should take the rest of the day off ;)!"

Teresa... thanks! This class is soooowall around awesome because...

1.Location.. we have had many painting parties on Walton County's public beaches.. but THIS IS THE FIRST painting class we have ever had so graciously hosted by Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. (I am PUMPED!)

2.Cause.. $25 per $35 ticket of this class will be donated to the Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance. A Walton County resident, I am super thankful for their efforts to protect our natural surroundings. Many of their projects particularly involving the coastal dune lakes could always use financial contributions!

3. Community: What an awesome opportunity to hang out with people who love our home! You might just make a new friend. Not to get all Bob Ross on you.... ;)

OH... and you'll want to register HERE.

Hope to "sea" you there!
~Amanda
