Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and the Sandestin Wine Festival are starting this holiday season with a special sparkling event. The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be lit with holiday décor and cheer for the 3rd Annual Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights event on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 5-7 p.m.
“We tend to think of our Sparkling Wine event as the grown up sneak peak of our holiday festivities inside the Village,” said special event manager Julie Stuckey. “This event will really get you into the holiday spirit as carolers roam the streets, lights accent the decorative Village store fronts, and we kick off the season with the first 12 Nights of Lights Show and Tree Lighting. We invite everyone to come to this very popular event, sip a little bubbly and sample great food pairings.”
The Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights event will feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. Guests will enjoy the sounds of live music and the night will end with the first Tree Lighting of the season and the Village’s choreographed light show, 12 Nights of Lights.
Tickets are on sale for only $40 per person, and then $50 for the day of sales, and come with a commemorative glass. This special event is part of a series associated with the Sandestin Wine Festival, a treasured tradition for 30 years.
The Sandestin Wine Festival is the longest, continuously running wine festival in the Southeast. Thousands of people enjoy festival events including Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights on Nov. 14, plus Wine Dinners, Seminars and Grand Wine Tastings in April.
