Social Media for Artists - August 16
Free Program on August 16th with Robin Wiesneth
As an artist, have you wondered how to use the internet to your advantage? The CAA Program Committee is pleased to announce "Social Media for Artists," with Robin Wiesneth giving you information to help answer that question.
Robin is a retired computer analyst specializing in software design and user training. A long time internet user and blogger, she has been exploring art venues online since 2005, looking for a way to connect with the larger creative community and reach new customers.
Join her for one of two sessions at the Bayou Arts Center to learn to use the internet to your advantage as an artist and a creative professional. It is designed for artists who want to set up a site for their art without a monthly charge. Session one will be 9:30 am - 11:30 am. If you bring your lunch, you can eat from 11:30 - 12:30 and talk to Robin. If you choose not to bring your lunch, you are still welcome to stay. The second session will be 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm with time afterward for questions.
You may bring a laptop if you have one, but it is not required. Information will be displayed/projected and Robin has prepared handouts as well.
Space is limited, so if you are interested in attending a session, please call the CAA office at 622.5970. The Bayou Arts Center is located at 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane off North CR 393.
