Whether you are already registered to run in the Seaside School Half Marathon and 5-K race or whether you just want to want to be where all the action is happening make sure to stop by our Silent Auction on March 6th and March 7th. This year is shaping up to be one of the most fun and diverse auctions ever and we have our wonderful artists, restaurants and merchants of the 30-A community to thank for their overwhelming support! If you?re looking to enjoy a wonderful night out on the town make sure to bid on one of 18 great restaurant gift certificates ? each one comes with a beautiful hand painted plate that has been created by a student at the Seaside Neighborhood School and was generously donated by Fired Up in Seaside. If jewelry is your passion, bid on an incredible, one-of-a-kind piece by local artists such as Wendy Mignon. For those who appreciate fine art, place a bid on a striking piece by Justin Gaffrey or Melissa Davis. This Silent Auction will showcase the very best of our community and beyond ? from the intimate photography of Marla and Shane Carter, to the whimsical bedding design of Serena & Lily, to the warmth and style of Bohlert Massey Homes, this Silent Auction will capture your imagination and spark your interest! So make plans to come by the Lyceum area at the Seaside Neighborhood School on Saturday, March 6th from 12:00 ? 6:00 p.m., or on Sunday morning in the Seaside Amphitheater, March 7th when the Auction will close at approximately 10:45 a.m. to make a bid on a great vacation stay, a great gift or a great experience. If you?re into fitness, yolo-boarding, boating, shopping, photography, artwork, home design, travel, cooking, wine drinking, or fine dining, we?ll have something for you!
The silent auction on Saturday is part of a race expo that is open to the public. Locals will find a ton of great stuff to bid on, great things to buy at the expo, and the kids can participate in a cake walk, so come on out and visit us. Oh and I almost forgot - Jim N' Nick's Bar-B-Q will be selling tacos for which all proceeds are donated to the school's 8th grade trip. The auction on Sunday morning is also open to the public.
