shopping channels on the tv

Do any of you ever stop on one when changing stations? The music,the drama and the way the sellsperson gets sooo excited?! I think i can program my remote to skip them,just haven't yet. The knives and jewelry are the worse oh and that horrable one about cleaning out your system that comes on late at night and I've seen it on a regular station like on a Sun.afternoon (when they need a filler) the creepy man ..........maybe I have too much time on my hands
My point is why are they like between the fine living and E station and such, why don't they put them on like 700 or something.?

Funny you should mention the TV shopping networks...I was surfing and came upon some YouTube videos that feature Mike Rowe (host of Dirty Jobs) when he used to pitch crap on QVC (circa 1992)--gotta luv'em:

Billy Mays is the first cousin of one of my co-workers. When my friend got married in Savannah, Billy was there. Very very nice guy. In fact, he arranged for a pirate cruise for all the kids during the wedding so they would have something to do. It was his present to the couple.

The one thing I didn't ask was does he use all the products he hawks on the TV! I shoulda!

Not loud in person at all. Didn't get a chance to talk to him a whole bunch, though. I'll have to ask Hal (my co-worker / his cousin). I don't remember seeing or hearing of him anywhere before he came on the scene with the Oxy-Clean commercials. It's has all gone uphill from there. I should do some digging and see if all the products he hawks are under one corporate umbrella...
