Via Colori™ is something different—it’s a celebration of creativity. This is a rare opportunity for people to see artists work and an opportunity for artists to come together and create. During the two-day festival, hundreds of visitors come and view the beautiful artwork, enjoy the creativity, and listen to free, live music. [/FONT][/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman,Times New Roman][FONT=Times New Roman,Times New Roman]All proceeds benefit the Seaside Neighborhood School. As one of the first five charter schools in Florida, this public school focuses on personalizing each student’s educational plan through the use of innovative instructional strategies and technology. Public funding received through the school’s charter status roughly covers teacher salaries. Funds for elective courses such as art and music, books, computers, supplies, etc., must be provided through a variety of fundraising efforts like Via Colori™. [/FONT][/FONT]

HOW THE EVENT WORKS [FONT=Times New Roman,Times New Roman][FONT=Times New Roman,Times New Roman]Businesses and families have the opportunity to purchase squares on the street. Names are printed on a plaque and placed on the street below the square. Purchasers will be paired with an artist (or they may designate their own artist(s) - professional or inspired friends, family, etc.) – who will paint the square with environmentally friendly pastel chalk during the weekend of the event. Those who purchase squares will be sent a photograph of their square at the close of the festival. [/FONT][/FONT]
