The holiday town of Seaside is calling Northwest Florida area dancers, ages 8-18, to audition for the 4th Annual SEASIDE® Nutcracker. Auditions will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Seaside Assembly Hall located across the lawn from the Seaside Neighborhood School at 168 Smolian Circle, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.
The Seaside Nutcracker will be directed and choreographed by Ballet Pensacola. Seleta Howard, Seaside Nutcracker ballet mistress, will be conducting rehearsals. A rehearsal schedule will be made available at auditions.
The one-time performance of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker in Seaside is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2015, and will feature Acts I & II. The performance is free and open to the public.
A costume rental fee and pre-registration is required. Applicants wanting to reserve a spot for auditions should email kboyle@seasidefl.com by Sept. 10.
