Sealed bids for County Road 30A Resurfacing Project will be received by the Board of County Commissioners , Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at the Office of Central Purchasing, 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
Closing date is October 3, 2016 no later than 10:00AM local time and will open immediately thereafter.
All questions are to be directed in writing to the County Purchasing Agent. Questions must be submitted to Purchasing no later than 12:00 Noon on September 22, 2016. DIRECTION QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER COUNTY STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER, OR ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED.
PROJECT: The Walton County Road 30A Resurfacing Project is located in Santa Rosa Beach within sections 1, 2, and 12 of township 3S and range 20W. The scope of the proposed project will involve roadway rehabilitation along CR 30A between its intersection with CR 393(S) and CR 83(S). As part of this project, the contractor will be required to mill and remove existing asphalt pavement to and average depth of two inches throughout the project limits followed by completion of a two inch hot mix overlay. The contractor will be required to provide Maintenance of Traffic throughout the duration of construction and will be responsible for coordinating, inventorying, and replacing all pavement striping and markings damaged or removed during the construction process. Clipping of shoulders will be required prior to completion of the roadway rehabilitation efforts.
BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DELIVERY OF ITS BID. BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED DAY AND TIME WILL NOT BE OPENED. OUR AREA IS NOT A GUARANTEED OVERNITE FEDEX DELIVERY. LOCAL MAIL IS NOT DELIVERED UNTIL AFTER 3:00PM DAILY.
PACKAGES SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE OFFICE OF CENTRAL PURCHASING ONLY TO ENSURE RECEIPT OF SAID PACKAGE.
PURCHASING DEPARTMENT IS CLOSED ON FRIDAY.
LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE FOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT’S OFFICE. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRM FOR ASSURING THAT THE ITB IS RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC OR ORAL ITB WILL BE ACCEPTED
