Gumbo is more than just a passion. It's a way of life! Our winter festival favorite is back for the 26th time - the Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival. The main event is at the Village of Baytowne Wharf in Sandesin on Saturday, Feb. 14 starting at 12 p.m.
Sample a variety of gumbo and vote your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner! Dark or light roux? Chicken, sausage or seafood? Celebrity judges will name the “Area’s Best,” and award the most creative set-up as “Best Display.” Gulf Coasts restaurants will be featured along with live music and children’s activities.

Proceeds earned will go to benefit Sandestin Foundation Kids as they reach out and help children in need in our
community. The Sandestin Foundation for Kids is a critical part of this event as their team assists in the coordination of
our volunteers who help in every facet of the day’s needs.
