Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast will host its 1st Annual Children?s Health Fair on Saturday, April 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the main entrance of the hospital.
Area families are invited to take advantage of free pediatric health screenings, such as spirometry screenings for asthma, vision, blood pressure and heart rate screenings. Attendees will also have an opportunity to talk to the hospital?s health professionals and representatives from more than a dozen community agencies, including Healthy Start, Walton County Health Department, Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, Children?s Advocacy Center and the South Walton Fire Department.
In addition to health information, kids will enjoy face painting, the AirHeart Regional Air Ambulance and an art project with Abrakadoodle. With giveaways, prizes, screenings and great community resources, the Children?s Health Fair promises fun for all ages! This event is funded in part by the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation.
