RIP Miss Kitty

I have dreaded this post for some time.

Miss Kitty passed this morning at home peacefully.

She was an amazing person and one of South Walton's most unique inhabitants. She will be missed by all who knew her. If you didn't know her you missed a wonderfully giving, loving and kind person; who was equally protective of those she loved and cared for.

We love and miss you dearly Miss Kitty. We know you're enjoying a rum punch in the F balcony in the sky.

I know all things do not revolve around Sowal, anymore, but I remember an era, a few years in the past, when I looked forward to the witty dialogues that sprang forth on this forum, and quite a few of them were fueled by the special humor of Kitty and yourself. Good times!!

I loved Miss Kitty and loved laughing with her. One of a kind friend. I'll keep her in my heart forever. She's absolutely wonderful in every way. What a beautiful story of friendship that started here in this forum. And she met so many of us here and then in real life, and loved us instantly and unconditionally. Now we have one another to share in her memory and carry on with her light and laughter and joy.

I did the math earlier- we “met” 22 years ago online, here on SoWal.com. Forever grateful, this forum gave me my friend that I will miss forever. Cheers to Kitty and everyone who knew and loved her funn spirit

She was a bestie for many years. She always made me think and sometimes adjust my attitude. She made me laugh so hard I spit many a drink out. So many fabulous adventures and field trips!
I always did and still do want to be like her. One in a hundred million.
I'll go to Kellers on my way to the casino and have a #5 for you my friend.
