Michigan but someday in SoWal as well
Since it's often nice to eat at home but not cook, I thought it would be useful to get a list of restaurants/delis that deliver. I know Bruno's pizza does. What are other places that deliver?

Thanks.

I think you listed the only one.
However, a few Sandestin restaurants will deliver to the west end of 30-A;

Paula,

While only Bruno's delivers to the Seacrest area, we do have a several new restaurants open at the Village of South Walton next to Seacrest. There is a Boar's Head deli, coffee shop, and a Carvel ice cream shop. There is also "Seacrest Cafe" which I know nothing about except that it is open. The Irish Pub should be opening in the next month or so. The new Shades East is also open at the intersection of 98 & 30A. All of these restaurants have take-out available and the drive is much closer than Seagrove.

Glad I read your post CCK I was about to ask about those very restaurants. Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know what's at Rosemary Beach that's good for easy fully-cooked take-out -- not too expensive and good for families?

Or any favorite fully-cooked take-out food from Publix that's really good?

I'm already planning my dining with the family for mid-July. Don't mind going out for a few pricey meals but mostly want to get take-out/delivery for dinner at the cottage or the beach.

At Rosemary there is a great little place called Carpenter's Market. It is in the courtyard next to the Sugar Shak. Carpenter's is strictly a take out place with very reasonable prices and shorter lines than Summer Kitchen. It is open for breakfast and lunch, I'm not sure about summer hours for dinner. You can eat your food at the tables on the courtyard, at the park or beach, or take it home.

What is great about Carpenters is that their menu varies daily and it is all homemade. They also sell a limited variety of gourmet food items, canned goods, imported olive oils, produces, and band aids. It is sort of a mini Modica Market (very mini).

They did some catering during the holidays (you could buy a prepared Thanksgiving meal from them), but I don't know the extent of what they do during the summer.

Publix--we love getting the Rotisserie chicken. Their red potato salad is pretty good too. They also have made-to-order subs from the deli. They have pretty good desserts too--cakes and pies.
