Want to Volunteer?

The Seaside Repertory Theatre is seeking volunteers to help out at various times on the calendar. In these tough economic times, the Rep cannot keep a staff large enough to keep the wheels running smoothly, so we have to look to our community for help.

Volunteers will get all kinds of cool benefits like backstage access, special comps on events and productions, big (huge) discounts on merchandise, and special recognition in the playbill and on the website.

Want to see a show for free? Try ushering or working the concession stand?

Do you like to sew? Maybe you want to help with costumes.

Do you like to shop? You could be a production shopper!

Do you love the fact that our little community has a professional theatre? Spending a few hours a month volunteering is a great way to ensure that the Rep is around for a long, long time...

For more detailed information on volunteer opportunities, visit our volunteer page on our website. There you find a little form you can submit so we know who you are, what you like to do, and how we can get in touch!

:funn:

Volunteers can assist with the following:

- Mailings
- Ushering at the performances
- Theatre maintenance
- Backstage work
- Set painting
- Much more!

I have to say that volunteering for The Rep has been fun and rewarding for our whole family! I love working events and shows, Bdarg loves to build sets, Will has done just about job possible (and learned so much) as an intern, and Kate has been a loyal lemonade stand volunteer for 2 summers now.

And yes, I love that our community has a professional theatre. Your support helps maintain high quality arts in our community- without the arts, we are just another resort area. The added bonus is a sense of community cooperation and of course, FUN! Join us for a great 2010!!
