Join Redfish Village this Friday, August 8th at 5:30 p.m. as we celebrate the culture of Mahabalipuram, India.
Not only does the small seaside town of Mahabalipuram feature memorable beaches overlooking the Bay of Bengal; but as far back as the first century BC, remarkable cave temples and gigantic open air relief?s carved from blocks of granite may be viewed from those same beaches.
In town, you can still see stone carvers at work at schools of art and sculpture, savor local seafood delicacies in beach front restaurants, order personally tailored clothing, become charmed by local folk dances - or simply step back and allow your senses to take in a literal kaleidoscope of sights, sounds and smells.
We invite you to Redfish Village to celebrate the culture of Mahabalipuram - with Indian food, drink, a colorful atmosphere and authentic dancing.
If you are not able to make it out to the event, be sure to log on to www.30atelevision.com, to view it live.
Redfish Village is located at the corner of scenic Hwy 30A and Hwy 83. Events will be held every Friday evening throughout the summer at 5:30pm on the Redfish Village Green.
