Recommendation Needed: Pine Straw Spreader and Sprinkler System Repair

It's time to tackle two projects that are a little beyond my capabilities. We bought a foreclosure property about a year ago and it has a sprinkler system, but the the control box has never worked. So, I need to find someone who can help repair a system that's been much neglected.

Also,I need a huge load of pine straw...way more than I can do in my Miata.
