Mark your calendar for Purses With A Purpose, a new and gently used designer purse auction and sale, benefiting Shelter House Domestic Violence Center.
On Friday, March 30 attend the VIP Party. For $5 you get first pick of the purses and food provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
On Saturday, March 31, attend the Final Purse Sale where all items will be for sale with purses marked down up to 50% off. The event will be at Silver Sands between DKNY and Juicy Couture.

ore than 350 women from across the Emerald Coast turned out last weekend for Purses with a Purpose at Silver Sands Factory Stores. The two-day purse sale and auction raised more than $5,200 to support our programs and services.


Customers shopped for new and gently used designer handbags, wallets and sunglasses. Big brand names offered at this year's sale included Prada, Big Buddha, Michael Kors, Coach and Dooney and Bourke, just to name a few.

Shelter House extends its gratitude to Silver Sands Factory Stores and Carrabba's Italian Grill for their support of Purses with a Purpose.


The next purse event will be at the Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival at the Fort Walton Landing from May 31 through June 2. Look for our purse booth!


Shelter House accepts purse donations throughout the year at our Fort Walton Beach office located at 102 Buck Drive.
