My family and I have recently moved to Santa Rosa Beach from Mobile, Alabama, where I have owned a Computer Store for the past 11 years. I am following my true passion of home remodeling and repair. I have a Victorian semi detached house and want to extend out the back of the property. The extension would be about 10 feet x 10 feet and would be 2 storied. I have an existing party wall, where I ideally want one wall to be. Next door already has a single storey extension attached to this wall. The footings are no good, so I can't build on top of it, and can't use it for my extension. How do I build an extension next to a party wall?
