We spent last week in paradise and I was able to catch a nice pompano! Out charter trip with Captain Kerry was absolutely rock solid and filled with big red snapper that made for delicious table fare during our stay. The ladyfish and blues were out and about in the surf and I was able to catch a few on the fly. We caught several blues and ladyfish on topdogs and bubble rigs and saw the spanish busting on several occasions. Bottom fishing during the day was slow but the beverages made that a ok! We did see a small pack of redfish running right off the beach but did not have a rig ready to toss at them. All in all it was a great week!
