Pompano Joe's Beach comes alive for a Spooktacular Halloween event to benefit Emerald Coast Surfrider Foundation. Come as you are or dress in your favorite Halloween costume! Enjoy the beach, music, games, giveaways, sandcastles, candy, paddle boarding & halloween fun.
EVENTS:
SANDCASTLE BUILDING COMPETITION
Enjoy a Free Sandcastle building competition. Anyone can participate. The emphasis is on fun. Contestants as individuals or as teams by age group and are judged not only on the finished product, but also on enthusiasm and teamwork. The rules are simple. Contestants must stay within their designated plot (10'x 10'). Plots and judging are organized into divisions by age, individual or team. Prizes will be awarded to the winners
FREE PUMPKIN CARVED CONTEST
Don't delay; start carving right away! Bring in your prized pumpkin to win amazing prizes, money, & gift cards. Pumpkins must be precarved to enter the pumpkin carving contest! Judging will be done at 1pm.
GAMES
There will be a few Halloween themed games to win prizes, candy, & goodies!
BOTE BOARD DEMOS & FUN RACE
Bote Board will be on the beach letting you try there latest boards & gear from 10am till 2pm. A fun race will held at noon for all ages & levels. Don't have a board don't worry if you need one, Bote will have a few demos available but they are limited. To reserve one or arrive early to ensure you get one. Awards given to the winners & best costume on the water!
BEACH CLEAN-UP
Following the Event the Surfrider Foundation will be holding a beach clean up! We can all do our part to create clean beaches for everyone to enjoy, cleaner water for fish and marine wildlife, and a healthier ocean for those whose lives depend on it. But it’s going to take all of us coming together to make it happen to make our beaches even better!
KIDS EAT FREE
Any child accompanied by an adult will be offered a free food voucher to eat in Pompano Joe's the day of the event!
