Is this yellow stuff on the Mini pollen? In January?! Is this normal for SoWal?

Not being there, I could only guess - but I would say it could be pine pollen (typical in Jan/Feb)

The yellow pollen usually shows up in a big way around late February/early March, but winter has been mild enough that it's no surprise to see it that early.

and why is mar's polar cap melting? - look to the sun, my little chick-a-dees, look to the sun...but also watch the methane and co2 counts as increased sun temp can cause melting and bubbling up...the planet's insides are getting hotter too...solar minimum last year was greater than the greatest recorded solar maximum ever...scary stuff! especially if we get ye old solar flare treatment, also known in the locker room at half time as 'the hairdryer' - players go in all sweaty and come out nice and dry from the manager's fiery breath! we may all be doomed to roasting like peanuts - so be sure to have lots o' funn in the meantime! and your name (30A SkunkApe as in Bigfoot) has to be coolest on this board ever
