Take a walk-about and learn about all of the history that surrounds Point Washington.
On Sunday, October 18th, the Historic Point Washington Asssocitation will lead groups of 10 on walks to historic sites, homes, and cemetaries beginning at 2 p.m. at the Point Washington United Methodist Church, County Road 395-N.
A guide will share tales of lumber mills, ferry boats, churches, schools, and Indian settlements - approximately 20 points of interest - in this free two-hour tour.
Refreshments will be served. Parking is available at the church.
Limited assistance for the handicapped will be available, however, those with special needs are urged to call 850-231-4633 prior to the event so that every effort can be made to accommodate them.
