Weekend fun begins on Friday and continues through Saturday. Festive pirate parade with fabulous floats, masked performers, colorful costumes and a street party all included during Columbus Day Weekend. One night of the weekend, the evening will be capped off with a pirate showdown on the High Seas in a fantastic display of dueling fireworks! Kids will enjoy grabbing up some beach balls as thousands of beach balls fall from the sky.[/FONT]

[FONT="]Lively music fills the air as contestants dressed in ornate and colorful costumes reminiscent of yore, compete for a handsome reward. [/FONT]
[FONT="]• Pet Costume Contest (6 p.m.)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Scruffy scallywags, pampered pooches and feathered friends take the stage to display their pirate garb in a chance to capture the bounty. [/FONT]

[FONT="]The Midnight Princess and Sea Dragon ships sail the waters of the Gulf, battling to lay siege on the city. [/FONT]
[FONT="]• Pirates Raid Panama City Beach City Pier (3 p.m.)[/FONT]
[FONT="]Anchored offshore, the pirates invade City Pier seeking the keys to the city, followed by a children’s pirate parade. All costumed children are welcome to join the march. [/FONT]

[FONT="]Royal pirates from the Krewe of Dominique Youx strut the streets alongside winners of costume contests and street performers to the Circle for music. [/FONT]
