Perpetual Imagination is my new favorite store in all of WalCo!

I've had favorite restaurants here in SoWal and favorite places to listen to live music and have a beer or two, but until now, I've never had a favorite store in Walton County. Perpetual Imagination (Grayton area) is my new favorite store in all of WalCo, but let me warn you, if you go, you will get sucked into the vortex. I stayed occupied for a good two hours this afternoon, playing with all of the science gadgets, puzzles, and other cool stuff. After going into some gift shops at science museums, I was a little scared to look at the price tags, but I got over that fear, and I was hooked. I started grabbing stuff to buy. I think the selections they offer and the low prices are such that any parent would love to do all of their Christmas and birthday shopping here. I even bought something for my dad. If you have kids, you need to stop by and see for yourself. You will be glad you did.

Perpetual Imagination is located north of Grayton Beach, on Hwy 283, maybe 1/2 mile north of Hwy 30A on the east side of the road. It is the only building on that side of the road.

Apparently, there is a science project due tomorrow because I saw several kids buying The backdrops for their projects. Get busy that homework, kids!

SJ, This is Perpetual Imagination correct??? It IS a cool store. I want to send little IBD to some of the workshops coming up.....

This is the greatest new store in our area! We have played there just a little bit....:roll:

We love it too!! The owners are always SUPER friendly. We have aleady signed up for a workshop.

It is awesome! We went today and got to play. PI has very high quality and fascinating toys and games. Lots of stuff I've seen only in high end catalogs.

I encourage folks to sign up for workshops. They seem like a great opportunity for educational activities for kids that normally can only be found in the big city.
