Ogden Spring Opening and Reception This Weekend

Hope to see many of you Sowallers Friday evening at The Ogden @ WaterColor reception for Bill Dunlap and/or Saturday morning for his lecture/talk, along with noted author, Julia Reed. Then, mosey on over to enjoy a beautiful day at Art in The Park.

Such a great weekend with so many wonderful activities planned in South Walton - we wish everyone success and lots of fun!

The reception tonight is from 5 pm to 8 pm. and we'll be serving light refreshments and delicous Ramos Gin Fizzes, a specialty cocktail inspired by The Ogden's hometown of New Orleans and provided to us by Julia Reed, chairman of the board of The Ogden.

Ramos Gin Fizz

2 oz gin
1 ounce simple syrup
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1 egg white
1 ounce heavy cream
4 drops orange flower water
Chilled club soda

Combine the first seven ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
Shake vigorously
Strain into a highball glass and top off with club soda
