So sad that the Ogden Museum didn't make it. Such a great asset to our community. I'm just SICK about it.

We went through the Watercolor branch for the first time this summer and were so glad we did. We really enjoyed the photos of southern people and places! That will be a quite loss!.

It is closed. There was supposed to be a press release out yesterday.

Why is it difficult for an art gallery to stay open open on 30A?
Bottom line is that 30A is about people coming here to go to the beach. Metropolitan visitors probably have all the arts they care to indulge in back home. That leaves locals to keep stuff afloat;most of our money goes to the Seaside Rep and I don't think most locals have much coin to spare.
Some of the execs from New Orleans came by my gallery to say they were closing that day (Thurs or Fri..can't remember). Sigh.
