We are working to provide a fun gathering and dancing spot on 30-a in our Barside and events room, What we are thinking about is having a Salsa night, another with Open mike, few with a houseband and one with a belly dancing show, let us know if this is something that will interest you or if you wish to see something different

I heard that people like karaoke. You might contact some of the dance instructors in the area and see if some of them want to have some after-hours fun with friends/students and what they recommend for music and styles. Some places have done a trivia night before. Maybe you could get some of the local groups / nonprofits involved and help benefit them in some way.
