Unfortunately,and I hate to think this, but, it is more likely less expensive to throw the tv away and get a new one than repair one. With electronics these days, the technology nearly doubles every year, while the price is cut in half. Get a new one which is under the manufacturer's warranty, and put it on your Am Ex card, which might get you double the manufacturer's warranty.
