Don't repeat false talking points. Marijuana is scientifically proven not to be addictive and legalizing drops crime rates and keeps people out of the revolving door for profit prison system. Legal prescription pills is what kids have a problem with. Alcohol is a problem.

Sorry sir, I have seen the addiction first hand- things are changing quickly because of the recreational legalization -this is a new era- this is not marijuana of the 60's and 70's , its higher THC levels and more addictive chemicals -
(when a state has allowed it to be available at every corner and is advertised offering it in gummies, in vapes (fruit smelling liquid to disguise smell , and billboards saying how great it is to be HIGH - the rate of users increases, not good for a community no matter what - our doctor told us they are seeing more and more teens and young adults using on a regular basis and it is causing more anxiety and depression-and yes people can get addicted - please google if you don't believe me

I think you are confusing addiction with dependency. THC is not addictive, but people do become dependent and sometimes chronic users but it is a separate issue from the vast majority of recreational users. Much safer than alcohol.

The drug laws in this country are messed up and cause more crime from prohibition. It's a sham.

The 1st 3 results:

1. Marijuana misuse turns into addiction when you can’t stop using the drug even though it’s affecting things like your job or your relationships. Almost 10% of people who use marijuana regularly will become addicted to it at some point.

2. Approximately 1 in 10 people who use marijuana will become addicted.

3. It is estimated that people who use cannabis have about a 10% likelihood of becoming addicted.

10% is valid, but treatment and education is the way to deal with it. I don't want to see more kids using but almost all already are. Legalizing will reduce crime and generate revenue for the state instead of cartels.

The ballot initiative would legalize recreational marijuana for ADULTS 21 and older. Existing medical marijuana treatment centers will only be selling it, unless the legislature adds other sellers.

I voted for it and I don't even use it. I think it should be legal for a number of reasons.
