I succumbed to the lure of the tempurpedic seven years ago and have never looked back. I bought a cheaper off-brand at a mattress store in Pensacola for less than half the price, and I still love it. When I sleep elsewhere, even if the mattress is fantastic, I so look forward to my own bed; it is by far the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on. I have owned a waterbed, a futon, luxurious pillow-top, and random others - nothing else has even come close. After 7 years, it is exactly as it was when I bought it - no sagging, no holes, nada. I do flip it and rotate it at least once a year.
The only con, IMO, is the mattress retains more heat than normal - great in winter, not so great in the FL summer. (Y'all know how much I love being too warm - not. :roll

To help combat this, I use two mattress pads - one is specifically made to keep the mattress cool. It works great, and I sleep with a light down comforter year-round.
Hope this helps, let me know if you want to know more...
