2nd Annual Destin Festival Artist Tour- Sept. 24​
This unique home tour, presented by the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, will include private homes in Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort and Kelly Plantation. The tour is Saturday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Advance sale tickets are $15; $20 at the door. Call (850) 650-2226 for location of ticket outlets.
Each home will feature a juried artist who will be exhibiting at the 16th Annual Destin Festival of the Arts on Oct. 29 - 30 at Henderson Beach State Park.


"An Evening with George Rodrigue" - Sept. 29 at Seagar's​
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation and the George Rodrigue Foundation jointly present "An Evening with George Rodrigue" on Sept. 29th to benefit art education and cultural events. For this special event, Chef McAdoo will create a four-course New Orleans wine dinner and Seagar's will be transformed into a Blue Dog art gallery. Guests will experience Rodrigue's creation of an original Blue Dog masterpiece to be auctioned off along with vacation packages, etc. Tickets are $250 per person exclusively through the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (850)650-2226.

SWING FOR THE ARTS Charity Golf Tournament Oct. 7​

Sign up today to play in a Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation charity golf tournament to support art, music and education in Okaloosa and Walton Counties. Corporate sponsor for $500 includes name sign on tee box; golf for four; cart; lunch; wine/beer drink tickets and dinner. Individual players for $100 includes golf; cart; lunch; wine/beer drink tickets and dinner. Registration is 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch and a 1:00 PM Shotgun Start/Scramble. CELEBRITY SERVER LUNCHEON - Oct. 13​
An education fundraiser to benefit All Kinds of Art, with two sittings, 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at Carrabba's Italian Grill, Silver Sands Factory Stores.
Feature will be local celebrities dressed as your favorite children's book characters. Purchase your advance tickets for $20.
Enjoy a fabulous Carrabba's lunch served by such book characters as Dr. Seuss, Little Red Riding Hood, Woody, Prince Charming, Eloise, Fancy Nancy, Mrs. Frizzle and many more surprising characters. Celebrating its 16th year, the Destin Festival of the Arts is featuring more than 100 premier artsits from around the United States exhibiting in more than 18 different mediums. Artists will be competing for over $9,000 in 15 cash awards among the top prestigious awards, Best in Show and People's Choice Award. An eclectic mix of students and adults will display their artwork in the Collaborative Art Tent.
Recognized as one of Northwest Florida's premier art shows on the coast, this signature event is relocating to the newly developed east side of Henderson Beach State Park creating a more spacious festival atmosphere, including three beach pavilions.
Live entertainment staged in the center pavillion will feature a variety of new and favorite musicians. There's something for all members of the family, including a Bistro Food Court and ArtStop, a kid's interactive art activity center.
No onsite parking is available, but conveniently located at Emerald Coast Centre located across from the park in front of Beall's Department Store. Courtesy of MKAF, catch the free motor coach shuttles that run continuously throughout the two-day festival.
Be sure to stop by the Destin Festival Merchandise Tent to purchase your official festival t-shirt and poster designed by Jennifer Bonaventura, selected as the 2011 winning artist of the festival signature artwork. Commemorative posters from 1997 to 2010 will also be available for purchase. Enter an exciting charity benefit drawing to win artwork donated by the 2011 Destin Festival Artists with proceeds benefiting the Foundation's mission to support art, music and education.
