Exotic Plants of Florida 3:30 p.m.
Come out and celebrate National Invasive Species Awareness Week at Topsail Hill. Please join us for a presentation and learn all about the exotic invaders that displace native vegetation and disrupt wildlife that are dependant on natural communities. Find out how you can protect your own backyard from these intruders. Park at the day-use area on Hwy 30A and take a short hike to the clubhouse.

Come and join the Rangers of Topsail Hill and ask them all the questions you can think of about park life. To cover the cost of food please bring $4, which goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill Preserve State Park to enhance the park, or bring your own breakfast. Park at the Day-Use area off Hwy 30A and take a short hike to the clubhouse.

Prescribed Fires 3:30 p.m.
Fire is a natural process that has shaped Florida’s ecosystems over the years. Prescribed fires play a vital role in restoring “fire-dependant” natural communities. Come out and join us for a presentation and learn the answers to all of your burning questions. Park at the Day-Use area and take a short hike to the clubhouse.

Coastal Dune Lakes 3:30 p.m.
What rare and imperiled geographical feature is found in Walton County and can only be seen in a few places around the world? These rare freshwater lakes lay hidden behind the dunes and provide a valuable resource for wildlife. Come out and join us for a presentation on coastal dune lakes and find out where you can explore them right here at Topsail Hill. Park at the Day-Use area and take a short hike to the clubhouse.
