I have enjoyed serving you for the past twelve years. I have worked extremely hard to control unnecessary spending and to bring value to you as the taxpayer. Your health and welfare is my first priority.
The SWMC 2016 Ad Valorem Tax was 0.1628 per 1000. It is my goal not to increase this ad valorem percentage and possibly decrease without sacrificing the quality of service to you the taxpayer. The teamwork we currently have with our current commission keeps an extreme close eye on the bottom line to protect your future.

My opponent has never attended one single budget workshop meeting or monthly meeting of the SWMC, yet he wants you to entrust his abilities in the spending of $2,500,000 of your hard-earned money. I have worked to limit and reduce spending without sacrificing quality or service. Under my strong leadership and experience, we have managed the operational budget without sacrificing jobs or service.

My wife Patricia and I started this company in 1993 with a small amount of our
savings. Hi-Tec Laboratories is a specialty chemical manufacturing company. Together we have built this company into a multi-million-dollar international business, which we conduct in nine countries. Our primary customers are Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware, True Value Hardware, Publix, Winn Dixie, and in many other retail locations.
Over the years we have we employed as many as 75 people year-round. The majority of our employees are residents of Walton County. Until you have had to personally make a weekly payroll with your own money, you cannot appreciate the stress and budgeting one has to do to ensure proper cash flow. This type of strong, dedicated leadership and conviction to detail is what I bring the SWMC and have for the last twelve years.

Brief History
Patricia and I were married in 1973. We moved our family to South Walton in 1982 from North Alabama. We are the proud parents of two sons, John and David.
I am proud to have served my country as an Army Combat Engineer/ Air Assault during the Vietnam Conflict, also trained in Chemical Biological Warfare.
Mosquito Control comes under the Department of Homeland Security and is also considered to be a target for terrorists.
Our goal is to provide you with a safe and healthy environment. I believe in a preventive maintenance program to prevent the outbreak of mosquitoes and the diseases they transmit. Our last resort should be in using chemicals.
I am the only qualified candidate for this position, proven leadership, proven strong management and proven true concern of the needs of our employees and taxpayers.
