Looking for someone that is good with cats - don't recommend Cat Clinic - that is where I want to leave. I don't want to cut off my nose to spite my face here - my two babies are almost 18 and 19 and I have gone here almost 8 years - but if there is an equally good vet that deals with cats, I may change. Dr Barry deals with Miss Milly and we are very pleased with that but I don't know how they do with cats.

Any suggestions?

I love Kindness Pet Hospital. Amy Williams and Susan Petro are wonderful and caring vets. My cats and dogs go there and they are always on top of everything. My cats have lived to l4 and l5 yrs. and my dogs lived 19 and 14 yrs. and these vets really helped me through . Older pets need special care and I think you will be happy with Kindness Pet. Seagrover you can trust another friend from Alabama. Kindness is on 30A next to Butler School.

Freeport Pet Clinic - both vets are really "cat people". They obviously see a ton of dogs, but they really do understand cats and treat them well. I think Dr. Barr has something like 5 cats himself.

Without getting into a ton of detail, I feel the almighty dollar is more important to the establishment than the treatment of animals.

I have heard Kindness is very good but pricey and I have heard great things about the Freeport Clinic. I'm also considering Dr Barry since we have always taken our puppies there.

Thanks for all the input.

Whenever I take the cats to Dr Barr at the Freeport Pet Clinic, he spends several minutes telling them how gorgeous they are. :D

And they are absolutely reasonable.
